I’m Gladys. I’ve been in HR for over 18 years, and have worked with companies of all sizes. I’m a sucker for a good start up, though – I was one of the early employees at Digital Domain, and helped build E-Funds from the ground up.
What can I say? I love HR. It’s my bread and butter (which is ironic, because I really don’t like butter). I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in corporate America, as well as some of the most innovative start ups. And through it all, I’ve maintained my sense of humor (or so my friends tell me).
I’m originally from Los Angeles, California. I moved to Orlando, Florida in 1994 while working with The Walt Disney Company. I received my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at the California Polytechnic University in Pomona.
I have experience developing and revamping HR Departments which includes policy evaluation, benefit administration, implementation of payroll, performance and recruitment modules. I have conducted compliance audits and developed compliance training programs.
